भीमरूपी महारुद्रा वज्र हनुमान मारुती।

वनारि अंजनीसूता रामदूता प्रभंजना॥ १॥

Bhimroopi Maharudra, Vajrahanuman Maruti |

Vanari anjanisoota, ramdoota prabhanjana || 1 ||

The big body, the angry one, the diamond body Hanuman, the son of Maruta, who lives in the forest.

महाबळी प्राणदाता सकळां उठवी बळें।

सौख्यकारी दुःखहारी धूर्त वैष्णव गायका॥ २॥

Mahabali pranadata, sakala uthavi bale |

Saukhakari dukha-hari, dhoort vaishnav gayka || 2 ||

The almighty giver of life breathes, the other awakens through his strength.

The giver of happiness, the remover of worries, the wise, who is the singer of Vishnu's praise.(Old: the one who is a follower of Vishnu and a singer)

दीनानाथा हरीरूपा सुंदरा जगदांतरा।

पातालदेवताहंता भव्यसिंदूरलेपना॥ ३॥

Dinanatha hareeroopa, Sundara Jagadantara |

Patal Devatahanta, Bhavyasindurlepana || 3 ||

The one who empowers the weak, the one with the face of a monkey, beautiful as the moon, who can go to the end of the world.

The destroyer of the Lords of Patala, whose gigantic body is smeared with Sindura.

लोकनाथा जगन्नाथा प्राणनाथा पुरातना।

पुण्यवंता पुण्यशीला पावना परितोषका॥ ४॥

Lokanatha Jagannatha, Prananatha Puratana |

Punyavanta punyashila, pavna paritoshka || 4 ||

He who is the Lord of Lokas, who is the Lord of the world, who is the Lord of Life, breathes, who is ancient.

The one who is pure in mind, speech and body, who has pure character, son of Pavana: the pure one who fulfills the wishes of his followers and gives satisfaction.

ध्वजांगें उचली बाहो आवेशें लोटला पुढें।

काळाग्नि काळरुद्राग्नि देखतां कांपती भयें॥ ५॥

Dhwange uchali baho, aaveshe lotala pudhen |

Kalagnee, Kalrudragnee, Dekhta Kampati Bhaye || 5 ||

With arms raised like a flag staff, he charges forward furiously.

Even the fires of Yama and Kaala tremble when they see him in such a form.

ब्रह्मांडें माइलीं नेणों आंवळे दंतपंगती।

नेत्राग्नि चालिल्या ज्वाळा भ्रकुटी तठिल्या बळें॥ ६॥

Brahmande maieli neon, aavale dantpamgati |

Netragnee chaleelya jwala, bhrukuti tatheelya bale || 6 ||

The one in whose mouth the universe is composed when he bares his teeth (grinds).

Whose eyes radiate fire, while he furrows his eyebrows in violent anger.

पुच्छ तें मुरडिलें माथां किरीटी कुंडलें कुंडलें।

सुवर्णकटिकांसोटी घंटा किंकिणि नागरा॥ ७॥

Puchchha te murdile matha, keeriti kundale bari |

Suvarna katee kasoti, ghanta kimkini nagara || 7 ||

The one with the tail on his head wearing a crown with gorgeous earrings.

The tinkling bells on his golden belt echoed (everywhere).

ठकारे पर्वताइसा नेटका सडपातळू।

चपळांग पाहतां मोठें महाविद्युल्लतेपरी॥ ८॥

Thakare parvata aiesa, netka sadpatalu |

Chaplang pahta mothe, mahaveedyullatepari || 8 ||

Stationed like a huge mountain, with perfect limbs and a slim shape.

It's sleek and moves like lightning in an instant.

कोटिच्या कोटि उड्डणें झेपावे उत्तरेकडे।

मंदाद्रीसारिखा द्रोणू क्रोधें उत्पाटिला बळें॥ ९॥

Koteechya kotee uddane, zepave uttarekade |

Mandradri sareekha dronoo, krodhe utpateela bale || 9 ||

The one who flew many kilometers north and forcibly uprooted the Dronagiri, who was like Mandrachal with his strength.

आणिला मागुती नेला आला गेला मनोगती।

मनासी टाकिलें मागें गतीसी तूळणा नसे॥ १०॥

Aaneela maguti nela, Aala gela manogati |

Manasi takeele maage, gatisi tulna nose || 10 ||

When he brought the mountain (to Lanka), he returned and replaced it with the speed of the mind.

Even the mind has been overwhelmed by its pace and none can keep up with its speed.

अणूपासोनि ब्रह्मांडायेवढा होत जातसे।

तयासी तुळणा कोठें मेरुमांदार धाकुटें॥ ११॥

Anupasonee brahmanda aevadha hot jatse |

Tayasi tulna kothe, meru mandar dhakute || 11 ||

ब्रह्मांडाभोंवते वेढे वज्रपुच्छें करूं शके।

तयासी तुळणा कैंची ब्रह्मांडीं पाहतां नसे॥ १२॥

Tayasi tulna kaichi, brahmandi pahata nose || 12 ||

It can besiege (orbit) the universe with its diamond-like tail.

The universe has never seen a comparison to him.

आरक्त देखिलें डोळां ग्रासिलें सूर्यमंडळा।

वाढतां वाढतां वाढे भेदिलें शून्यमंडळा॥ १३॥

Aarakta dekheele dola, graseele suryamandala |

Vadhata vadhata vadhe, bhedeele shunyamandala || 13 ||

Whose eyes saw the reddened sun and he went to swallow it.(For this) He grew so strong that he pierced the sunyamandala.

धनधान्य पशुवृद्धि पुत्रपौत्र समग्रही।

पावती रूपविद्यादि स्तोत्रपाठें करूनियां॥ १४॥

Dhandhanya pashuvrudhdhee, putrapautra samgrahi |

Pavti roopveedyadee, stotrapathe karooneeya || 14 ||

Wealth, food, livestock, offspring flourish and health and knowledge are obtained by reciting / mastering this stotra.

भूतप्रेतसमंधादि रोगव्याधि समस्तही।

नासती तूटती चिंता आनंदे भीमदर्शनें॥ १५॥

Bhootpreta samandhadee, rogvyadhee samasthi |

Nasti tutati cheenta, aanande bhimdarshane || 15 ||

Ghosts, zombies, ghosts, etc. Illnesses and ailments All worries are destroyed by the Darshana of Hanuman and the devotee attains bliss.

दृढदेहो निःसंदेहो संख्या चंद्रकलागुणें॥ १६॥

रामदासीं अग्रगण्यू कपिकुळासि मंडणू।

रामरूपी अन्तरात्मा दर्शने दोष नासती॥ १७॥

Ramdasi agraganyu, lake kapeekulasee mandanoo |

Ramroopi Antaratma, Darshane Dosh Nasati || 17 ||

They belong to the followers of Rama, the glorifier of the breed of Vanaras (Kapi).
