Gatwick Airport is an international airport located near Crawley in south east England, 47.5 km south of central London. Gatwick is the ninth busiest airport in Europe and occupies a total of 674 hectares (1,670 hectares). Gatwick began as an air base in the late 1920s. It has been used for passenger flights since 1933.
It serves as a single runway airport with a length of 3,316 m (10,879 ft). Just pull yourself up to the barrier and wait for your car's license plate to be checked. Once verified, you can take your ticket and drive straight through to park on the property. If the ticket cannot be scanned, click the button at the entrance.
Short-term parking at the North Terminal is in parking lot 5. The south terminal is in parking lots 1, 2 and 3.

Long-term parking
Highly tourist season travelers or anyone who leaves for a long period of time benefit from the long-term parking spaces with an excellent price-performance ratio. Once parked, go to a bus stop before hopping on the free shuttle bus that will take you straight to the terminal. It usually takes between 5 and 10 minutes to get to the South Terminal and 7-12 minutes to get to the North Terminal, and you can go straight to check-in. Please note that shuttles can be busier than normal during the main holidays. As soon as you get up, hop on one of the regular shuttle buses to the long-term car park. The shuttle buses run day and night, which is ideal if you are on a late night trip. All official Long Stay car parks are well equipped, securely fenced off and routinely patrolled by Gatwick security officers. You'll also enjoy ParkMark Safer Parking certification, realizing that you are parking your vehicle in safe hands.

Disabled parking spaces
Blue Badge Bays are available in Gatwick Long and Short Stay car parks at both the North and South Terminals. For easy, fair access to the arrivals area, Blue Badge owners can also take advantage of discounts on Premium Parking when parking for less than four hours.
