Should the Raiders cut Antonio Brown

Buccaneers release statement on recent Antonio Brown scandal

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have issued a statement on the recent Antonio Brown scandal.

Brown is alleged to have destroyed a camera and dumped a bike on a security shack before signing with the Buccaneers.

"We are aware of the reported incident with Antonio Brown before it was signed," the Buccaneers said in their statement. "When Antonio came to us, we were clear about what we expected and asked of him. So far he has met all our expectations."

In two games with the Buccaneers, Brown made 10 catches for 100 yards. Tampa Bay lost to the New Orleans Saints in Week 9 but bounced back to the Carolina Panthers in Week 10.

The Buccaneers are 7-3 on the season and second in the NFC South standings for the first year of the Tom Brady era.

Although this alleged incident took place before he joined the team, Brown is on a very short leash due to his civil lawsuit in a sexual assault case. The superstar was also arrested in January for an argument with a truck driver. Brown accepted a plea and remains on parole for arrest.

It will be interesting to see what comes of this situation with Brown. The Buccaneers take on the Los Angeles Rams on Week 11.
