Who would be Superman's joker

Evil Superman in the trailer for "Zack Snyder's Justice League": is Darkseid to blame?

The first two trailers for "Zack Snyder's Justice League" were actually the same trailer in two slightly different versions, and despite their proud running time of over 2 minutes 30 seconds each, they were basically teaser trailers that didn't say much about the plot betrayed.

It's a little different with the new trailer: This video shows that the death of Superman (Henry Cavill) at the end of "Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice" is the starting point for the plot and tempts the main villain Darkseid and his henchmen to do so to attack the earth again.

And at the same time, Batman (Ben Affleck) is building a team of superheroes to protect the planet, which may be made more difficult by Superman. Because he could first be on the side of the bad guys, as the trailer suggests.

Sebastian has summarized what else is in the preview of Snyder's version of "Justice League" in the video at the top. Below is a brief overview:

Darkseid & the New Gods

In "Batman V Superman" and the theatrical version of "Justice League" there were allusions and brief mentions of Darkseid, in the new trailer the villain can now be seen in all his dark glory longer than before.

He is kept company by his henchmen Steppenwolf (with a spiked look), Desaad (with the hood) and Granny Goodness (with cloak and spear). What you need to know about the villains belonging to the alien race of the New Gods, you can find out from Sebastian in the video from minute 1:07.

At the very end, the Joker does the honors, played by Jared Leto again after “Suicide Squad”. How exactly the Joker fits into "Zack Snyder's Justice League" and why it suddenly looks so different, Sebastian will tell you at 5:11.

From minute 6:19 onwards, it's about Superman, who no longer presents himself in red and blue in the trailer, but in a black suit. It was similar in the comics after his death, where the black dress is supposed to help him better absorb the light of the sun.

But in "Zack Snyder's Justice League" it may be different, because there Black Superman could be evil. Is he possibly under Darkseid's influence here? Or does the rest of the Justice League have to fight him after his revival, as in the theatrical version? We are curious ...

Speaking of the theatrical version: Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and Flash (Ezra Miller) only appeared briefly in it, in the so-called Snyder Cut they should now have significantly more screen time and (especially in the case of Cyborg) they should be the focus. Sebastian speculates what exactly we could expect from 7:15.

And then in a short scene a new Batmobile can be seen, which should even put the tumbler from the “The Dark Knight” trilogy in the shade. Did you also spot the massive Bat tank? At 9:30 a.m., Sebastian will tell you where comic book fans might know the vehicle from ...

"Zack Snyder's Justice League" can be streamed in the US from March 18, 2021 on HBO Max. For Germany, we expect a timely start with Sky, but this has not yet been confirmed. In any case, “Wonder Woman 1984” will celebrate its German premiere there on February 18, 2021.
