Blurb

Illustrated in color throughout. Children have to find their way around both in the world of letters and in the world of animals. So why not combine both? A stimulating game with many names. And what would you call your friends?

Review note on Süddeutsche Zeitung, April 24th, 2020

Reviewer Heike Nieder discusses two ABC books for children here. The book by Nelleke Verhoeff from the Netherlands, with its classic approach - each letter is assigned an animal with a suitable name - is only suitable for beginners, says Nieder. Ina Hattenhauer, on the other hand, presented a more original, albeit not entirely new, idea with her "Abundant ABC", which is also suitable for preschool children: Here, word games and puzzles about missing letters have to be solved. This picture book even has some exclusive smirkers ready for young people and adults - the reviewer can give an "unreserved" recommendation here.
