Are you grateful for your mistakes

Gratitude makes you happy

What does mindfulness have to do with gratitude? We explain to you how gratitude can change the way you view the world. We'll also show you a few exercises that you can do every day.

Sometimes it is not that easy to see the positive. You may feel like your day was just plain stupid or boring. The day is often over for us, even if only one thing was not so nice. But in most cases there are still small moments that you enjoyed or nice things that happened. You just have to make yourself aware of them.

To be mindful means to be in the moment. It is also about perceiving the environment and yourself. All thoughts are welcome, but we do not hold onto them. Being mindful also means having an open and accepting attitude. We accept things as they are and do not judge them. One way of being mindful is through gratitude. In doing so, we focus on what we are grateful for right now.

Learn to appreciate the little things!

We can influence our own satisfaction ourselves. Instead of always telling ourselves what went wrong, we can focus on the positive things in our life. It doesn't have to be big events. Even very small moments of happiness are valuable. Maybe you are grateful for a delicious dinner today? Or you are happy that the sun is shining. It can be anything. Other things are of great value to everyone. Therefore, only you can know what you are grateful for today.

If you regularly remind yourself of what you are grateful for, it will become easier for you over time. You may then notice the little things in everyday life that make you happy and learn to appreciate them. It pays off every now and then and think about all the good things happening in your life.
